I cannot blame you as I experienced the complaints from you for years. This line is completely different from what you tried in the past. It will fill the void and probably reduce you cost in the end with no solvents to buy and the high solids content means less coats. Pigment and/or dye based stains that are easy to use and no lapping problems. Hi-performance urethane coatings that can be used indoors or out, or will hold up to the daily beating of your hardwood floors. This is one of those products you need to try to believe. |
Trying to stay "GREEN" without traditional solvents and chemicals is a reality thanks to some of the these products. AFM has a complete line of cleaners for your home as well as specialty coatings to help seal out the "off-gassing" associated with many household items like carpeting, plywood, etc... You love that old baby crib but you need to get that old solvent based paint off. Soy-Gel paint remover will do the trick without the chemicals found in most of the other strippers including the "friendly" ones. Whether it is a varnish or an industrial epoxy this product will take it right off in a reasonable amount of time, not days. Krud Kutter makes a line of industrial cleaners and pre-paint cleaners that are completely biodegradable. Even for you bilge area of your boat this will clean it right up. |
You now have the correct products to use so you better have the proper equipment to apply. HVLP equipment (High Volume Low Pressure) is the best method of application although not the only. There are tons of these out there and you definetly get what you pay for. You can buy a true HVLP gun for as little as $19 to well over $1000. for just the gun. The $19 guns I will not sell. You will not get the finish you expect with these. We sell a lot of brands but I prefer Capspray and Warwick. Price to value these guys are tops. Airless equipment is another great method of application and is definetely the fastest. Several pumps are great for this but again I think the best value is the Spraytech. |
